Over 40 years ago, a group of 37 civic minded men in Upland decided to join together and form a Kiwanis service club that met for breakfast instead of lunch. Thus was born the KIWANIS CLUB OF UPLAND-FOOTHILL. Two of the original charter members remain active today, Bill Landecena, and Hal Schliemann The club is comprised of 50 civic minded Men and Women ranging in age from 30 years old up to 92. Our average age is in the low 50’s. This is not your grandfathers club and no we don’t wear funny hats or have a secret handshake! Over the years the club has conducted a wide variety of community service activities our current projects include: Awards and scholarships for outstanding students in our community.

Keep in mind you don’t have to be a member to help.
